This Privacy Policy describes how MEDICUBE EUROPE collects and processes personal data when you visit the website, create an account, make a purchase, contact customer support or interact with our services.

2. Data processed

We may process:

identification and contact details, such as name, email address, telephone number and addresses;
data relating to orders, payments, deliveries, returns and customer support;
account details and preferences;
technical and usage data, such as IP address, device, browser, pages visited and cookie identifiers;
content submitted voluntarily, such as enquiries, reviews and communications.

Full card details are processed by payment providers and are not stored in full by MEDICUBE EUROPE.

3. Sources of data

We collect data directly from you, automatically when you use the website, and from providers supporting orders, payments, security, delivery, analytics and marketing, within the limits permitted by law.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Performance of a contract: managing accounts, carts, payments, orders, shipping, returns, warranties and pre-contractual assistance.
Legal obligations: tax, accounting and administrative requirements, consumer protection and responding to authorities.
Legitimate interests: website security, fraud prevention, defending rights, improving the service and aggregate statistics, after balancing these interests against your rights.
Consent: newsletters, non-essential marketing, personalised advertising and non-essential cookies, where required. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies necessary for the store to function and, only in accordance with the preferences expressed through the banner, analytics, personalisation and marketing cookies. You can change your choices using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing.

The store uses WordPress and WooCommerce on WordPress.com. Third-party services enabled on the site are subject to their respective data protection policies.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases, we use safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, unless another applicable legal basis exists.

8. Retention

Tax and accounting records are normally retained for 10 years; data relating to orders, warranties and disputes may be retained for the period necessary to protect rights. In the circumstances provided for by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent. You may also object to direct marketing at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the competent authority in your country.

10. Security

We adopt technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. However, no system is completely immune to unauthorised access. Please protect your credentials and do not send confidential information through insecure channels.

11. Minors

The store is not intentionally directed at minors who cannot validly make a purchase under applicable law. If you believe a minor has improperly provided us with data, please contact us to request an investigation and, where appropriate, deletion.

12. External links and social media

The website may contain third-party links or integrations. Processing by those parties is governed by their respective privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

13. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or organisational changes. The new version will be published on this page with its update date and, where required, a specific notice.
